The babies were in the crib as I was strapped with an infant to my back. Ha! All was starting to form, but it wasn't quite finished. This was going take money, effort, and my favorite shopping to furnish this house. To keep in my budget I took my sons with me to look for hidden treasures at estate sales. My house was transformed into a space in which I held open houses. Up to 1000 visitors could see the things on the first floor, and then purchase the items. Growing Days was created in this home. While my company grew and so did our small family. It was like I found the ideal balance between being a mum and launching my business. Growing Days fit perfectly. My sweet Nora came into the world in 2013, which was our fourth baby. This was a fantastic direction for my business however I was also in need of some time off. I decided to stop building my old furniture and spend time with my kids. This was just the thing I needed. But after a couple of months off the phone started to ring. A lot of people contacted me for help on home improvement and decorating. They were mostly people who came to my open home to purchase furniture. The time flew by before I managed a large-scale business for home improvement. I began by taking clients one by one in a manner that I felt at ease with. When you first spoke to me about my home renovation business, I laughed. Actually I still kind of laugh when I think about the idea.
