Katherine Heigl recently spoke out about growing up living in "a the white bubble." She also explains how this experience has affected the parenting style of her adopted children that are multiracial. In an interview, she said in the past that with regards to skin color there is no difference. But after speaking to her adopted sister from South Korea she realized just how differently society treats the children. I asked Meg if, when she was out with her parents she received a certain treatment and when out alone, she was treated with a totally different one. Meg replied, "Oh yeah, always!" Heigl addressed Parents about when she realized her ignorance. She admitted that she was frustrated, but she felt the need to use this anger to assist her children. Heigl as well as her long-time husband -- singer Josh Kelley -- have a 4-year-old son together, Joshua Bishop Kelley, Jr. They have took in Nancy Leigh (age 12) from South Korea and Adalaide (age 8) with a black complexion and was adopted in 2009.
